L A T E S T - N E W S

No news has been forthcoming for the last few months due to the landowner's refusal to negotiate with us. This does not mean we have given up our dream to transform the woods. SAW stands ready to implement our plans, and will continue to make every effort to reach an accomodation with the landowner that may be mutually beneficial.

As we continue our efforts to create an Environmental Lerning Center, SAW welcomes your help through active participation or monetary donations.

So, why hasn't this land been developed already?

Although it may look tempting to build on this land (several developers have tried and failed in the last few years) eventually the combination of high land prices, serious water drainage problems combined with tons of landfill debris and restricted access so far have thwarted would-be construction efforts.

We think we have a better solution. Read on through our website about the land and our vision for an Environmental Learning Center.

Join us in our fight to create a resource that will benefit our entire community!
